The Elbe canyon between Děčín and Hřensko is one of the loveliest stretches of the river. On a paddleboard you get the quiet of the water, rock faces tens of metres high and views you will never see from the bank. The current is gentle and the route suits beginners too.
Rentals and routes
Several paddleboard rentals operate in Děčín and also offer a briefing and transport back. The most popular route runs from Děčín to Dolní Žleb (about 10 km, 2–3 hours). A longer version continues all the way to Hřensko.
